Understand the credential before enrolling
The Institute’s Basic HACCP Certificate Program uses an International HACCP Alliance-accredited introductory HACCP curriculum and is ANAB-accredited under ANSI/ASTM E2659. Customized FDA regulatory instruction may be offered separately or alongside the certificate program, depending on the engagement.
FDA does not approve or endorse HACCP Trainer, the Institute, a learner, facility, product, or HACCP plan. Specialized requirements—such as seafood or juice trained-individual provisions, PCQI responsibilities, or Better Process Control School—must be confirmed for the applicable product and role. The written proposal will identify exactly what the training covers and what credential, if any, is issued.

No. The Basic HACCP Certificate Program provides a rigorous applied HACCP foundation, but specialized requirements for seafood, juice, preventive controls, acidified foods, or low-acid foods may require separately scoped training or qualifications.
